Liliana's Walk For Hope

Please join us on Saturday October 7, 2023 for Liliana's Walk For Hope! This year's race is being sponsored by the Law Office of Kathleen Gaines. Participants can choose from a 1.1 mile fun walk or 5K run! This event is organized to raise money for Children's Hospital, specifically the NICU. Our daughter Liliana was born there at 24 weeks and gained her wings just 13 hours later. We want to do this and help other families and babies. Following the race will also be a basket auction at the same location Lewiston 2 Firehall (VIEW EVENT POSTER)

START/FINISH
Both the walk and 5K run will start and finish across the street from the Lewiston #2 Fire Compay on Kline Road. The 5K course will take runners through surrounding neighborhoods in the Town of Lewiston. The 1.1 Mile Walk route offers participants a shorter walking option.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place at the Lewiston #2 Fire Company from 10:30am right up until the start of the race at noon. All participants who register by September 26th at 9am will be guaranteed a t-shirt. A small quantity of extra shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

1.1 Mile Fun Walk: $25.00
5K Run: $25.00

POST RACE CELEBRATION

Participants will be provided with bottled water at the finish line and light snacks will be served at the fire hall after the race.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking the fire hall. Please DO NOT PARK on Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31) or on Kline Road.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. In addition, all participants will be able to download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race!

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
